Everything You Need to Move to the Web Beginning January 2025
Preparing for the Migration to the Web Version of Brevium
Migration to the web will begin January 2025. As we transition to the web version of our product, you will need to be aware of several key details. This document will help with a smooth migration and clarify what to expect during and after the transition.
End of Feature Updates for On-Prem
- Important: The on-prem (legacy) system will no longer receive new features or updates.
- Deprecation: The on-prem version will be fully deprecated on July 1st, 2025 . After this date, you will no longer be able to log in or access your data via the on-prem platform.
Server Compliance
- Requirements: To ensure a seamless transition, your server must comply with the Brevium standards:
- SQL Server 2019
- Windows Server 2016
- Action: Ensure your IT department has verified that your servers meet these standards.
Contacting Your Account Manager
- Action: To begin the migration process, reach out to your Account Manager. They will guide you through the steps necessary to migrate your install to the web version. They will help answer any questions you may have during the process.
User Management Moves to the Web
- Action: When your install migrates to the web, you will no longer have access to the user management tab on the on-prem version.
- What to Expect: All user management tasks (adding, removing, and managing users) will now be performed exclusively on the web. However, you will still have access to all other tabs on the on-prem system.
User Access to the Web Version
- Flexibility: You can choose to have all users, or only specific users, receive an email invitation to join the web version at the time your install is ready to migrate.
- Email MFA: For security, email multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required for all users. Users will receive a verification code to their email once a week to verify their identity and maintain secure access to the platform.
Enterprise-Level Reporting
- Report Refresh Schedule: With the web version, reports are refreshed nightly, rather than each time you log in.
- Impact: Due to this change, you may notice different numbers in reports between the on-prem and web versions.
- New Feature: This change enables enterprise reporting, which provides an aggregate view of reports across all installs under your organization.
Data Migration and Security
- Data Migration: The migration is immediate, and your install will have full access to all your data once you switch to the web.
