New Office Closure Follow-up Targeting Tool
Many practices closed locations and canceled all but emergency and urgent procedures due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As these practices reopen, one of the crucial issues is following up with all the patients who have had a canceled or delayed appointment, in order to rebuild the practice schedule. Brevium’s software provides a targeted new tool, “Office closure follow-up”, to help make this process rapid and efficient.
In the Advanced Settings section of the software, the practice can choose the targeted window dates to search, as well as the providers, locations, and appointment types they would like to schedule.
Brevium’s software queues up the patients who were a no-show or a cancel within the target window that don’t have a future appointment on the schedule. This differs from the standard “No show follow-up” and “Cancellation follow-up” tools in the software; patients with the new tool will be queued up immediately after the cancellation window, with no programmed wait to be counted as overdue.
The tool then uses the software’s features for patient outreach to return them to the practice. Practices can choose to include this reason in an existing Autopilot outreach campaign or assign staff members for live calls for this reason using the software’s Caller function.
“The new tool is timely and intuitive. I haven’t talked to an administrator who didn’t love it. To our knowledge, there’s nothing like it out there.”
Jarom Barnes, Brevium Account Manager
