Inspired by Renta’s success, Atzenbeck saw an opportunity to address a longstanding challenge in medicine: the assumption that providers will always ensure patients know when to return for care. While patients place great trust in their providers, human fallibility leads to missed opportunities for follow-up care. Both The Clinic and Pure MedSpa went live with Brevium in February 2024 and have since experienced significant returns. In nearly a year, Brevium has reached 11,189 unique patients lost to follow-up, successfully returning 1,293 of them for essential dermatology and aesthetic care. These efforts have resulted in a combined patient conversion rate of 14 percent. Atzenbeck highlights Brevium’s ability to strategically target and bring back patients based on their own unique needs, noting, “The Clinic sees the same number of patients coming back on the schedule from Brevium as they do in referrals sent from referring providers—a significant statistic for our practice.” Additionally, Atzenbeck emphasizes the considerable lifetime value of returning patients, adding, “We know for a fact that there are several patients that have been missing from our schedules for years.
